90 4runner 22re swap codes 51 and 31 help!!!
So i am back to work on my 1990 4runner. I have let it sit for a few months and im tired of looking at it. It runs at idle cold normally. It will almost purr like a kitten. When i apply the throttle open it will bog down. When i slowly ease into the throttle it will climb in rpm's (to about 4300) then start bogging down again. There is a little bit of blue smoke but seems nothing to be worried about. I have checked the TPS and replaced the Mass airflow sensor. I blew up the 22re motor (4th cylinder) and replaced it with a late 80's 22r block with my old 22re head. Like i said it runs fine at idle but when under load (unless eased in) it boggs down. I need some help!!! maybe o2 sensor? fuel filter? TPS? i think maybe a few of the air lines could have been crossed but im gonna check for leaks tonight. I hear some air under the intake manifold under the throttle cable and im gonna work on that right now. Please help!

more info....
So i tried the brakeclean trick to see if i have any leaks on my air lines and came up dry. I am assuming the 'leaky' noise i hear might just be the intake doing its thing. It just sounds unusual. I am definitely getting a loud backfire in the intake when under load. It just seems to be idling fine and having troubles under load. I tried adjusting the TPS and i am just getting more backfire from the intake so i put it back where it was. Thanks in advance for the help guys! This has definitely been a project ill never forget... Learning lots...
