I guess I didn't realize for the manual works, all the number (1) tests for all 3 tests start off with probing for no voltage. I have voltage on all three tests so I guess it makes sense that I shouldn't continue any further tests in that flowchart .

whats next? Backprobe for the fuel injectors? Can i rev my engine while i recreate the engine stutter and get a live reading? Will i burn my ECU?

you shouldn't be testing for resistance (ohms) with the circuits "live", only with no voltage through them. voltage tests obviously require live circuits.

Thats what makes total sense.

my idea is to read live voltage while recreating the engine stutter, what should i plug into to do that?

What i am asking is
which pins on the AFM send the actual signal to inject fuel?

which pins on the ECU receive this signal?

which pins on the ECU send out this signal to the injectors?

which wires between the ECU and injectors receive the signal from the AFM?

So i tested every wire circuit and pin i could think of in every way possible and it all checks out great. The issue dissapeared aswell.

i think it might be loose old wiring falling apart at the connectors. After messing with all the wires for a day I probably pushed them all in more securely. This is in theory, so i will keep you guys updated if anything changes.

even if that is the reason, you'll probably want to locate just which of the connections was the one causing the problem. that way, you can track it down quickly the next time, or actually change/upgrade/repair the connection.

Absolutely when I find some time I plan to go over and clean the whole fuel injection system. If you have any guides or suggestions for this they are greatly appreciated.

Just and update

Two days ago I changed my spark plugs, I was running some typical stuff from Oreilly no special plugs. After reading on these forums how you MUST use the OEM or similar plugs I went and bought the NGK plugs recommended on these forums. My truck runs AMAZING, gas mileage has improved and that stuttering issue has not returned AT ALL, it drives better than it ever has since I have began to rebuild it.

Also, plug #3 was covered in a thin layer of oil. and the other plugs were dirty (blackened thread and white tips)

I wonder if that stuttering with a random misfire under load? Was it the plugs? wiring? a combination? Who knows will see what happens in a week from now.

what do you have for plug wires? use the toyota dealership for those. currently, they are sumitomo brand. yakazi (or yazaki) used to be the oem brand.
