Was leaving the store and noticed something was leaking from passenger side of my truck crawled under and saw it was the fuel line. I got it to my cousins shop cut out the rotted line spliced it with high pressure injector hose, doubled clamped it. While I had it on the lift figured I would give it a good look over noticed the rear u joints were shot so changed them also. Went out for a test drive everything was good pull back into the garage and rear brake line blew. So for now I have the lines to the rear capped off so I can still get from a-b I want to run all new brake lines but I'm not sure about the rear setup with the preportioning valve. Will it have a big effect if I bypass that setup all together?

If it still worked you will notice the rear brakes will lock up easier .

Growing up in the old days you never had those fancy brake valves so you got used to the brakes being that way.

You can put a manual valve in if you really need one.

Yea that's what I thought might be an issue, I will try bypassing it and see how it goes. Thanks for the response
