89 p/u cluth Adjustment

I've yet to buy a book so I can answer my own questions, but since I have not I have a question. P/O had toyota do a clutch about 25k ago and I not happy with where the clutch grabs. Can anyone tell me where and how to adjust it down a little?

Thanks
Andrew

Threaded rod/bolt where the clutch MC comes through the wall an attaches to the clutch pedal.

Pullt he hat pin clip on the pedal, pull the pin.
Us two wrenches (10mm?) to loosen the jam nuts.
twiddle the shaft lenght to adjust free play.

retighten jam nuts, reinstall pin , reinstall clip
