Hey all, new here have aprob with my 89 truck wont idle, dies at stop got the codes 24, intake air temp sensor signal 25( fuel metering device, 31( air flow meter signal, 51( switch signal.... I have an appointment at a shop this afternoon..and would of course like to avoid getting ripped off....any help appreciated, got a long drive (thee hours ahead of me and need to know if I could make it as is or can i fix it myself w/a little help other than taking it to a shop my thanks in advance

 

Sounds like the air flow meter may be going bad. If you have a manual handy, you can ohm it out and save yourself the diagnostic fee.
