I have a 88 4runner V6 and the fan just exploded to pieces and made a hole in my radiator and cut the water hose and also demolished a small black box that looks to be connected to where the air filter is. I dont know what that box is called just dont have any idea what it is- can someone let me know what it is-and where can i find one, if there is anyone that has a fan and that box for sale please let me know thanks.

 

Can you post pictures of the broken part? It will help to make sure we tell you what's what.

 

I believe he's talking about tbe PAIR valve resonator.

 

Try a wrecker for the parts.
Might want a new fan so it doesn't happen again.
