i have an 88 2wd 22r that i just rebuilt if i let it sit for a day all the gas drains out of the carb. if i trickle gas or eather into the air cleaner it will fir right up and purr like a kitten. is there a check valve somewhere that i missed,i rebuilt the carb,put all new vacume lines on it,and the engine has about 2 or three miles on it. but if i let it sit for a day i can crank it till the battery dies and it won't start all though i don't crank it for more than a minute, if it doesn't start by then i put a tiny bit of gas in it and i fires off. would it be easier to put an electric pump in or rely on the mechanical pump?
