I have a 88 xtra cab 22re and about 2 months ago I took it through a mud pit and ended up dying in the middle because I got some water in my distributor but ever since then when I start my truck in the morning it's a little more difficult and when it's cold it takes a good 7-8 sessions of turning over to finally get it to fire up and when driving the throttle sticks until it warms up when pushing the clutch in is when it's most noticeable and also when sitting at a stop it idles rough and surges sometimes both when using brakes and when using the emergency brake. Any ideas on what to do? I've tried oiling the throttle assembly already.
