87 sr5 had tranny problems.. just locked up and wont go, bought a L52 from an 83 toy and didnt think of measuring if they were the same length. ends up its not and realized they were stock like that 79-83. ANY WAY of making it a DD, work without spending much thats reliable till i do a swap?

 

Buy the correct transmission .

Sell the one you have that is wrong.
