I am looking at putting a 3.4L v-6 from a tacoma in my 4runner has anyone done this? or have any information about it? thanks

 

Not a lot of people have done a 3.4 swap from a 22re, at least, not a lot of have posted about it. It would require a lot of work- new engine mounts, new tranny bellhousing (if not whole new tranny), rewire the whole thing, etc.
Do a search. I think I recall someone putting a 3.4L in a 22re vehicle...

 

slacker put a 3.4 in his 22r (or 20r) trecker..... but that more than an engine swap.
