Hey,

I am a newbie on the forum but am looking for a little help with my 87 Runner. I'm getting ready to piant my rig and don't have any idea on how to remove the glass out of the shell of the runner. Is it possible with out breaking anything. Any info would be awesome. Thanks

 

the only way that i know how to remove it is to use a claw hammer and tap with medium force right in the center of the piece of glass...

save yourself the hassle and just tape it off...

Sounds like taping it off is the best way to go. I saw in another link here on yotatech that said some of them have hex screws but i was unable to locate those in my specific vehicle. Thanks for the info, im sure i will have plenty of other q's. the forum here is awesome, Thanks again
