I am searching for someone who can tell me where the data link connector is located. I need to jump it out to diagnose the problem with my tranny. My O/D light is blinking. This is driving me crazy ..

 

So I take it the online manual didn't work out, huh? Have you pulled the codes from the engine check light? There's probably codes for your tranny with that.

 

The Check Engine Light only Gives codes for engine. I checked into that. This is really driving me up the wall. that diagram showed it over by the fuse blocks under the hood ,but of course in my situation its not. Don't you have a 86'???

 

I think I have found out how to do it on a 86'. Its a square plug on drivers side.

 

Square plug on the drivers side? Thats for the tranny then? Hmmmm, yeah I have an '86 5speed.
