'86 2wd vs. 4wd Suspensions

I have an '86 4wd, I dont plan on using it for 4wd, just 2wd prerunning. I have a buddy that has a Total Chaos 2wd front suspension kit, will it work on my '86? I want to keep the 6 lug on it, I just dont have the time to make a bunch of custom stuff to get this too work. So will it?

Why don't you contact the makers of the kit? Maybe there is a reason why it's called a "2wd" kit ?

get the caddy two kit and dont put in the t100 axles and you should be good, then take out all the extras if you want but im damn near positive that it wont, because the axles and CA placement... among other things. it would take alot of custom work.

the total chaos stuff is sick as hell. thats the only way id do a 4wd. i have a 94 2wd and i used to have a fabtech uca kit and let me tell ya fabtech is the worst bunch of crap ive ever seen.. i now use the downey uca kit with mega travel ball joints and dual doesch tech mv 12 shocks. it has about 10'' of travel. i wouldnt waste my time converting it to a 2wd front end. if you want to do that go pick up a 2wd truck. either way its not cheap and if i had a 4wd id go total chaos that girl is one crazy engineer. hell i wish i could afford the 2wd kit for mine, maby someday. ive also seen other kits from a company called duffco
