'86 22r carburetor missing vent tube

How does this happen? Bought a remanufactured carb from Guaranteed carbs 5 months ago, just now got it installed today, everything hooked up right, was ready to fire it up, then realized it is missing the vent tube!

Haven't heard back from them yet, but it was about 3:30pm Florida time when I told them about it. I wish people would double check their work before shipping these things out. I wish I would have noticed it when I first got it but I assumed it was tested and ready to go so I just left it in the box until I was ready to install it.

Just the latest in my carb woes as the first remanufactured carb I bought from ebay broke on the first day (throttle linkage would stick wide open, that was scary). That was a complete loss as I also had it in the box for so long after I bought it that by the time I installed it and it broke, when I contacted the seller they had no problem with just completely ignoring me since it was past the return period. So now so far $600 in, still no working vehicle and looking forward to my 3rd carb install.

I'm hoping Guaranteed carbs will come through and fix this asap I really need to get this running.

Does your eBay carb have a vent tube?

Yes, would it be easy to transfer it to the carb that needs it? I couldn't find anything for schematics with this part removed.

Talked to Troy at guaranteed carbs he said this is just a different design from a different year that is internally vented. I have never seen a 22r Aisan carb without the brass vent tube. Does anyone else have one without the tube, or know when they were made? It must not be a very common item.

Put the 2 carbs next to each other and see what the difference(s) are
