ok so I have been debating on doing this swap for months now since my 3.0 has definatly seen better days. and a few days ago I found a FREE 7MGE on craigslist! thats right FREE. checked it out and its fine just needs new rings in 1 cylinder. so gonna redo all the rings and probably new pistons and bearings just to be safe. but I do have a few questions. I know there are many posts already about this but I have seen all of them and frankly after all the reading I got a tad bit confused with all the diffrent combos that people do. so here are my questions.

1. I have a 3.0 5 speed tranny. what bell housing do I need to bolt it to the 7m?
2. do I HAVE to have a 5 speed 7m ecu or can I use a auto ecu?
3. does anyone make a direct bolt up harness for this? (I'm not the best at wiring)
4.will I have to fab up some motor mounts or are there any pre made ones now? thanks for any info you can give me.

I did search before this and figured out a few things but still had questions. also, will 5mge parts work on this motor? such as the distributor, powersteering and alternator? thanks
