Hey all I've always liked the hilux surf or sequoia spoiler on the these trucks, so I ordered one. I got it in the mail today and mocked it all up, I was so happy there was already a harness in the truck ready for it lol, I plugged it in and not one of the led's lit up. I understand that sometimes a few will go out or flicker, but all of them? I have power in the orange plug (3rd B light) and I plugged the wire into the orange plug and I have power at the end of that wire, so it has to be the wiring that comes right out of the LED housing which looks sealed. Anybody have any thoughts? thanks in advance

 

Well i guess after 100 ppl looking at this and nobody saying anything i guess nobody knows what im talking about so ill go to the hilux forum

 

LED's are tricky. They need damn near 12 volts and no less to power up. And they can only be hooked up one way. I would try to find the wiring diagram for vehicle the spoiler is from so you can identify what wires are for what. Just because the plug is there, doesn't mean its got the power and ground in the right spots.
