Hello all,
I was wondering if the f code 7.5" 2 pinion carrier and the g code 8" 2 pinion carrier were the same not the ring and pinion but the carrier its self. And would I be able to put the 8" ring gear on the carrier and use it in my g code 8" rear axle?
The reason I ask is because I am doing a budget build sbc swapped toyota pickup 2wd and I can get a 7.5" lsd for 60.00 from the junk yard and I have physically looked at both and to the naked eye they look to be the same size physically but unsure if they could be interchanged. I have been waiting for a mk3 supra lsd to pop up in the yard but not a thing for over a year so im Hoping this 7.5" will work instead of welding the rear diff.
