6" Lift and Rear Drive Shaft
#2
Just try it and find out.
I realize that is pretty unhelpful... but I don't think anyone can truly answer the question but you. You'd have to install the lift and take some measurments of the DS, how much slip is exposed, etc. You could try to figure it out beforehand but it would be really hard to "guess" at your final dimensions, in my opinion.
All that said, I did a rear leaf swap on my '91 4Runner with 5" All Pro leaves. I still use the stock drive shaft and have really flexed the rear end on the trails with no issues... yet.

I already bought the sas kit from all pro as well as the leaf spring conversion kit. Only difference is I have the 6" springs. I guess I will just go ahead and "find out"... I only plan on using the stock drive shaft for a little bit, just road driving until I get a new one.

Also I went to www.eakland.net a few months ago and was going through your pictures, and came upon the one you are using as your avatar. I liked it so much I put it on myspace. Hope you dont mind.
