5.29 and 37-13.00LT15

Anyone ever drive with 37s and 5.29s? I want to see what it would be like on the road/ highway.

I ride with 5.29's and 36x13.5's and the gearing is back perfectly to where it was with stock gears and 28's. My truck drives fine and has just as much acceleration as it did stock.

I wouldn't think that going to a 37" tire would make that big of a difference.

Don't plan on driving it on the road much. The boggers are a big, heavy tire and wear out fast if driven on the road. I run the same size boggers on my 89 and they are excellent off road except in off camber situations.

my 94 has 5.29:1 gears with a spool in front and 5.29:1 gears in rear with locker , 15x39.5x18 tsl boggers, 3" body lift and 6"suspension lift and drives like it is stock, except when hubs are locked, spool makes it difficult in tight turns.

i have the same tires and 4.88s. if i drove it on the road i would change to 5.29s. it isn't a problem off road. i normally keep one transfer case in low.
