4x4 vibration and pull

i noticed a pretty decent vibration while in 4x4 from the front end and the truck seems to pull to the right... it also sounds like i light clanking sound from the passenger front hub too... it's a light noise, kinda like a cotter pin loose but with a little more weight... at the same time this started, it had a hard time coming out of four wheel drive, it took almost a 1/4 mile then finally on a hard turn it popped out, but not violently or anything... when it is out of four wheel drive, it is perfect... i looked underneath and the driveshaft and u-joints apper to be ok...

i'm mostly asking this because i am kind of new to these trucks and was wondering if there was a common problem or what the likely part could be before i buy a new everything... please let me know if there is something that is likely to be causing this or if you've had the same issue! thanks

-Sam

btw, it's a 94 pickup V6 4x4 manual 5 speed... extended cab long bed if that matters...

do you have manual locking hubs?

Mine will vibrate near highway speeds if I leave my hubs locked
