I could tell you that I searched and read many posts about why front wheels aren't spinning, only one wheel per axle spinning, etc.

Truth is I thought my Aisin hubs were locked the whole time. It wasn't. The letters were so faded I couldn't see the locked/free positions. I've been driving on 2WD for the longest time in the recent snowstorm and my P/U performed quite well thinking i was in 4wd. Someone pointed out the slightly faded words of "FREE" and rotated it the other way. night and day.

My eyes are bad, but maybe someone who googles the title of this might just have an Ah Ha moment and get all five fingers to the face.

You do realize with open diffs your still only going to spin one tire front/back right?

Yes, I realize that. I never said otherwise. It was just nice to have both front and back working rather than just trying to plow through the slush we had this morning.
