So the housing off my 4wd indicator plug is broke (the one coming out of the T-case) and I'm not sure which wires hookup to the other half of the plug. Both wires from the T-case are black and the others are colored. I tried to guess and both tripped the relay but neither illuminated the indicator. The bulb is not burned out, I checked that already. Does anybody know which wire connects to each other or if it even matters? These are the wires I'm talking about.

 

It doesn't matter on the transfer case. The switch won't care which way the electrons flow through it.

 

That's good to know, I didn't want to burn any fuses trying to find out which connection worked. Thanks eric
