Um, true, Les himself used it as a mantra through their early touring days. In case you need some sort of official source http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...Primus%20sucks

So I've made some progress guys. I have gotten the tailgate powder coated black and installed the hardware. The idea is to make sure everything is a go before I glue down my fiberglass front panel. I took of my old gate and made sure everything was working and lined up. Right on target. Couple thoughts so far. First, the tailgate, with glass and hardware, is heavy and awkward. No wonder that with the hard top and gate 4runners get that notorious rearend sag. Second, the torsion bar at the bottom of the gate which protrudes underneth the truck is a PITA when I tried to reinstall the original gate. of course I could have removed it but I'll know that when installing the new gate. Overall, I'm really happy with the results thus far. The gate looks new in and out (besides a rough spots where the rust had worked its charm). I placed the fiberglass panel up against the new gate with it installed on the truck and it will need some trimming. That's fine. I've got room to work with and the dremel is looking forward to a precise shave. I'm on the hunt for some por 15 to lay across the bottom and then I'll be ready for the final touches for the panel to go on.
