4Runner Speakers

About to go buy new front speakers for my '88 4Runner, but I'm not positive what size they are
I believe its 4 1/2'' but I'm not positive
They arent door speakers
Can anybody confirm this for me?

Actually they are 3 1/2 and they are under the dash, I replaced mine a few months ago.

Not always. I now own a pair of 4x6's that were supposedly the correct size for my 95 4Runner.
