Tried looking on here but could'nt find anything. I have a problem with my 87 4runner side glass on the hard top, the passenger side, the previous owner said it just "popped" off. The glass and the frame is intact but its just not conntected to the hard top, I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem, especially those who have removed their hardtop at one point or another. Is it a seating issue? or should I just start looking for a new top? Thank you for all your help.

 

The only thing that holds the window frame/glass is butyal tape. So, yes it could have popped off but it sounds like it might have been removed before and not sealed properly. Easy fix and it can been done while the top is on the truck.

 

Thank you. since this is the PNW and im not that great with windows ill just take it to Novus just so i don't have to worry about the floor getting soaked again.
