4runner and pickup Same rear drive shaft?

Hey ladies and gents, are the rear shafts the same? that bolt to the 3rd? my trucks a v6 1991 sr5, and the other ones a 1991-93 v6 sr5... i need a new one badly, please, anyone know?

No, they are different lengths. The trucks (extra cab at least) use a 2-piece drive shaft while 4 runners use a one piece.

Assuming his truck is an Xcab.

the regular cab v6 trucks used a one piece.

If he has a regualr cab v6, then yes the 5sp 4runner drive shaft (88-95) will be the same length.

If he has an xcab, only an xcab driveline will work.

Thanks alot guys, I also just called a junkyard, they said it is NOT the same, my trucks a xcab, thanks guys
