4runner doors with wing window

What years had this as an option? I'd love to get some doors with them one day that'd fit on a 2nd gen 4runner.

I think you can modify your doors to accept the wing windows. Well at least Im pretty sure its possible with 1st gen 4runner doors. Hit up the junk yard. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in

I'm not sure if you can swap them. The 1st gens are more angular than the 2nd gens. Of course you can swap anything with anything if you have a welder and a grinder.

I saw a 1990 last week with wing windows. I wanted them so bad but they were pretty rusty along the bottom so I couldn't take them

Some 3rd gen Pickups had vent windows. If the doors swap between Pickups and 4Runners (they do for 84-88/89 but I'm not sure about 88/89-95) then you could just swap over the doors.

I put up a craigslist add to see if anyone had some around for an 89-95 truck.

About two days later a very nice gentleman up the road in Nashville told me he had a parts truck (94) which fit mine.

I recommend you do the same, and post up in the classifieds here. You can usually get a good deal on one of those good old wrecked parts trucks. So glad I got vent windows (no AC in the summer....no thanks.)

1990 4Runners.

I much prefer these than the full window as I like to travel with my window down and combined with the factory weathershields you don't get blown out

But flip the wing window and it will clear a fart in no time
