well, after dropping a pile of money for the fan clutch, shes back on the road, and running great. Comparing how the fan used to work to how it works now, it feels like its blowing twice as much air now. I also finally got some new rubber all round, some 31x10.5r15 michelin ltx a/ts. they also cost a mint, but i managed to snag a decent deal for em. of course, i go and spoil the runner rotten, and it decides to repay me by having my exhaust start to rust apart. its nothing serious right now, just a slight leak, but thats definately the next mod.

Glad to hear your back up & running. I just did my exhaust and after a lot of research & costing I went with a factory system. It was cheaper then custom and was cheaper than having a copmany put an aftermarket on. It was super simple - 2 bolts and 5 hangers

Does any run an aftermarket electric fan instead of the stock part? IIRC, I have a 16.0 in. fan in the stock fan shroud and it works great.

Oh man I'd be curious how much he spent. My flex-a-lite electric fan is on my top 3 list of best mods. I hated the sound of the clutch fan screaming everytime you started the truck. Without it I have better power, mileage, the motor warms up quicker.... I could go on.
