40/60 split seat question

Will this type of seat from a 95 pickup work in my 87 ext cab?

I think the seat brackets are the same, but why not go with a set of buckets instead?

I got buckets but they are ragged out. Im just wondering if the 40/60 will have a problem sliding over where the center console use to be.

it will fit .. I have one currently in my DD . I had to hammer the bottom of the seat frame for the center console drill holes for the rear mounts .. but I love it .. 3 seatbelts and a center arm rest , and way more comfortable then the 84-88 bench

.

I've got a 60/40 in my 84 and I'm actually with you there. I think it is ay more comfy than my sr5 buckets. I'm looking around town for a .50 cal ammo can so I can take out the arm rest and put a higher one in there and use it as a console too.

BTWIf you can't seem to clear the tranny tunnel, I believe 4crawler.com has seat lifts for sale that you can put between the seat and slider brackets.
