4" Speakers, any good links?

I'm going to be changing the dash speakers in my 95 runner. I only want to do this once, so I'm asking you all for help on what type of speakers you all think I should go with.

Also any links to where I can get them would be great. Also, I do have a best buy right here in my area, do you think they will have anything that is good?

I have thses same infinities in my runner, and they sound great for 4in. speakers. however my rear 6x9s overpower them a bit.

Crutchfield is great to figure out what you want. But go find the same thing on Ebay. You generally can find the same speakers at half the price as Crutchfield. If it's an Ebay store they usually will honor warranties.

I think at this point, I'm going to leave the rears as is. Not quite sure of what is even in the rears at this point, but they sound like tweeters. They are located above the rear window. Any idears of what they are and size as well?

If you have a '95 IIRC there are front 4"'s in the dash, some tweeters above the rear window (I'm not positive on this one), and 6.5"'s in the rear side panels(in cargo area). Again check crutchfield or circuit city for a fit/speaker guide.
That being said, I run Kicker 4" speakers in my dash, a 10" 300W Kicker Sub w/amp. The sub sits behind the passenger seat and is in a custom box. The sub overpowers the rear speakers so I haven't changed my rears.

I like the Kickers, have had them in there for over a year now and no issues yet.

I run Infinity Reference, they are great and sound quality is absolutely outstanding for a 4" speaker.
I have used Kenwoods, Pioneers, Kickers, and Jensens in 4" in the past and they are no where near as good as the Infinitys, no where!
You won't be disappointed!

WOW. $152 for some 4"?? I've bought complete systems for that haha.. I agree that Infinity is one of the best for speakers. You really should'nt skimp on a 4". Bigger speakers have more leeway, but get the best 4" you can get.

I wanted to make sure I got a very good speaker, since they are so small they are workin pretty hard to keep up with the bigger speakers I have in the back.

so far I have cranked them up enough so that my rears where gonna go kablooee. No problems, I did however buy the 2 year warrenty, replaced no questions asked.

x whatever for the Infinity 4" Kappas - GREAT little speakers!

I've had mine for years, and they still sound great. I have Infinity Kappa 6 1/5" 3 ways in the back of my Xtra Cab, and love the combination!

I got some 4 inch Blaupunkd(spelling?) in the dash of my 4Runner. They sound great. I got a killer deal on them, too. I think I paid like $42.50 after warranty, and everything. I'm looking for an amp for them, though. My Pioneer deck just doesn't quite cut it as far as powering the speakers.
