3VZE working A/C compressor wanted

Hey guys,

I am trying to locate a cheap working A/C Compressor for my '93 t100 base. I tried car-part.com but no one has gotten back to me. Anyone have one lying around from a parted truck?

Let me know please.

Thanks

It may just be me, but that sure sounds like false economy. 4 years ago I purchased a new compressor, Thermal Expansion Valve (you need to replace that; the failing compressor could have shot junk through your whole system, you HAVE to flush it, and you need to remove the TXV to do that), dryer/receiver (yeah, you have to replace that too), all o-rings, and R-12 to R143a conversion fittings for just under $200 delivered. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-r134a-284801/ Considering what it's going to cost you to evacuate and recharge your system, you don't want to have to do that twice.

Thanks scope103. You saved me a headache. guess I'll just have to go through the whole kit'n'kaboodle when I'm ready to get the AC working again.

Great write up too!
