3VZE - Timing Belt Noise
I just replaced my timing belt. When I started it up it made a sort of high pitched or whirring noise. I can't tell for sure if it's coming from my timing belt or the drive belts. Is that normal or what should I do?

When you had it taken apart, did you check the other pulleys? As in the idler and water outlet pulleys? When I do a timing belt at work, I always recommend the pulleys be replaced, because if they were to fail after I did the belt, that means that the belt has to be taken off again anyways.

Yes. I replaced the tensioner and idler pulleys. It runs fine but as I rev the engine higher especially in the lower gears the sound gets really high pitched.

It's not the accessory belts. I'm not too concerned about THAT noise but there's another noise from my idler pulley. I just replaced it and it's making this noise:

You positive its not the belts?
Not sure how many miles you have on that motor. However, you could be about to lose the bearing on your main pulley assembly. It's the thing that the fan is connected to and is comprised of a bearing, the pulley and a cast aluminum frame that it sits it up higher than your timing covers. Mine went out at about 250K miles. It's a heavy duty bearing and pretty loud when it goes out.
Anyway - it sure sounds like you have a bearing on the front of that motor that is about to seize up on you. Based on how loud it is, it doesn't sound like water pump or anything under the timing cover...at least that would not be my first guess, but that's all it is.

I'm positive it's not the belts. It's not the bearing you're talking about because firstly I can hear the noise coming specifically from the idler pulley plus it was making no noise before I did the timing belt. I'm going to take the cover off on Thursday and look around I just don't know if I should drive it.

You said it was new so it shouldn't be making noise.
Was it a name brand bearing?
Could dirt have got in there?
Is it possible there's too much tension on it?
I'm afraid you're going to have to either live with it or take it off and see what's going on.
