3VZE Oil Leak, HELP!

yeah its toyotas anti rust antisieze function. No other brand has this unique feature. jk, chances are its valve cover leak. And it looks like it was leaking all the way down. i would pull the timing belt cover and check the timing belt make sure its not covered in oil.

Thanks guys. I'll be taking some of the covers off shortly to have a better look, in the meantime I'm getting the old one ready to be pulled out, short of actually lifting it out, since I will have to rent a lift.

I didn't even think of that on my first post. The 4 runner I have now is actually the first one I have had without a leaking ps pump. If you want to be extra sure, I would still pull the upper timing belt cover and make sure the belt is not covered in oil.

Looks like it was a combination of PS pump, and valve gasket gone bad. It's dry inside.
