i've had an intermittent CEL code (lean) for a while and poor fuel economy. not that bad, but it could be better. in a recent exchange with someone, due to the nature of his poor fuel economy issue (broken switching valve connections) i'd wondered if i might have a canister issue. it's got 235k miles on it. not sure. just trying to track it down as a possibility. so, how long do these evap cans typically last?

 

FSM has test procedure. There’s a valve in canister. Just need vacuum source and ears.

 

i knew there was a procedure, but i don't have an fsm in my possession, anymore. would you happen to have a page copy or link?

ps. as well, i do not have a formal vacuum source.
