Alternative Fuel in 3VZE = BAD

First off, I bought this from the original owner, who is an orthopedic surgeon, because it had a blown head gasket. I will just let the picture be worth 1000 of my words and I would like to ask if anyone has ever seen one better for the inside of a motor?

I don't think that dogfood is the best fuel to be using in this case. Not to mention a couple important parts are missing.

I think the story of how the dog food got there is worth hearing.

well, I started with the fact that the original owner was an orthopedic surgeon, and that is the most I know. You fill in the rest of it because i would love to know myself.

The story probably goes something along the lines of "I was just walking by my truck with the plenum off and accidentally dropped 1/2 a bag of dog food on/into it." I can't think of anything different.

Check all the wiring carefully. Rodents will sometimes chew wires in half, although they appear to have had a good supply of food. I bet they were big ones.

I'll have to remember this if I get frustrated with my truck - open a bag of Pedigree in the engine bay and close the hood

I don't have any pictures, but it is not uncommon to find dog food, cat food, and or lots of nuts stored underhood, in airboxes, blower cages or elsewhere in peoples cars. Rodents not only store their goodeies, but they also like to chew.
This leads to very unusual and troublesome electrical problems.

I was working on a Mazda Miata that got towed in for a no-start condition. Turns out rodents had chewed the insulation off the wires at the fuel tank resulting in an inoperative fuel pump but more interestingly the power shorted through the fuel tank sending unit to ground actuall burning the sender unit resistance in half. this was inside the fuel tank. I guess it did not ignite the fuel because of the oxygen starved environment.

Go Figure?

LoL I dont see how a rat or squirrel could physically fit btwn the upper and lower plenum to get to the passenger side to put hte food in. Gotta be the work of a mouse. hehehe
