So as some of you who read my post earlier might know, im in the market for a new dizzy, and i need it tomorrow. So to broaden my spectrum of possible donors, can I try and snatch one out of a camry, will it go into my 3VZ without a hitch? I haven't found anything yet but are there any other options as a distributor in my beloved 3.0?

nope. you need one out of the right year 3.0 with the same plug

so only the 1990 3.0 distributor will work for me then? that makes it difficult...

Call your dealer and ask them if the part number is the same for the car as it is for your truck. If it is you should be good. Same logic applies to different year trucks to verify.

I think the interchange runs 1989-1992. but the camry dizzy with definetly not work.

it will work.... if you put the camry engine in your truck. other than that, not a chance.
