35s & minimal lift Yet another tire fitment Q...
OK add this one to the 4 million "will it fit" threads.
Didn't see this particular combo though...
35x10.5 SSRs on 7" wheels.
'93 Ext Cab w/ only 1" BL. No BJ spacers. Everything else stock. Lets assume the fenders can be cut or removed, and firewall pounded/ground smooth.
My thinking is, this should actually work. 31x10.5 clears w/ rooms to spare w/o any lift. 35x10.5 is only 2" closer to the fender/firewall.
Anybody run this?
I'll be able to try out myself in a few weeks...

I have 33x10.5, with no lift, and they will rub a little without some pounding and trimming (not much though).
I am also curious what you need to do to clear those tires. I have looked at them before and would be awesome if I could afford them some day.

Im not running a swamper, but its a 35..stock, with minimal rubbing.
Put the tire on, and cut or hammer everything it touches. Viola!

The 1" body lift will definitely help. If fender and firewall clearance isn't an issue for you to modify, then the next place that it might rub could be on the frame when turning since the larger diameter will push the rubber further on the end points of your steering - I'm not sure if they'll rub, but possible. This could be solved by proper backspaced wheels, spacers, or adjust steering stops. Another thing to watch which might not be an issue because you want skinny 35s and 7" wheels, is to watch for sidewall clearance/rubbing on the a-arms.
I run 33x12.5s on 15x8/3.5 wheels on maybe 1.5-2" lift and I had to chop some sheet metal. 35x12.5 would definitely fit with just more firewall and bumper clearance. Out back I'd have to cut a tad off the fender as well because as is I'm right up on it fully stuffed. Check out AxleIke's old 4runner build - he had 35x12.5s on stock 7" alloys with a few mods to make them fit.

And defiantly check out Ikes build. His steering upgrades are

I'm rubbing on 33's. No lift, no T-Bar crank, newer gen 16x7 Toyota rims w/ 1 inch spacers. I trimmed the fender a bit and SMASHED the pinch weld. I'm definitely going to tub the firewall. And for some reason I can't get the LF to 0* of Camber... its sitting at -0.3* and both sides are sitting at -1.6* of Caster. I want to go to the Blazeland LT kit but am nervous of some major rubbing on that firewall & where the fender bolts to the body.

I did 35's and no lift. You can check out my 874runner thread to see the mods. I shaved the upper a-arms and tubbed the firewall. No rubbing. Its not brilliant on the steering though, so I upgraded that as well.
