33's & Speedometer..

Hey, I'm putting 33's on my truck soon, and was wondering how do I correct the speedometer back to the correct speed?

If you can't afford to buy a GPS unit or re-gear your truck:

that is for you. I have (thanks to college tuition fees) a little chart in my truck taped up so that I can have the correct speeds visible.
When my speedometer says 85 km/h, I am going 100 km/h

Mine actually read slower than actual speed. When I upgraded to 33" tires, it actually reads bang on now. Thing is, my odometer now reads lower than actual.

Almost every GPS unit sold today can tell you your exact MPH...many can do it to the tenth or hundredth of a MPH

in my experience, when you throw an auto into the mix you usually have to step up to the next gearing set. So 31=4.56, 32=4.88, 33=5.13. That is why some toyotas came with 4.56 or 4.88 stock gearing, its those with auto tranny's and 31'' tires as the factory setup.
