You are so right. I live in Dumont (about 3/4 mile from Spring Creek trail) and my old 80 pu w/ EFI swap was killing me on the hills running 5:29's and 33" LTB's. I can't imagine trying to push those tires with stock gears or even 4:88's. I'm sure at sea level it would be a lot better but we have no air up here!

go with the 31's until you wear them out, in the mean time, start saving big time for all the upgrades you will need to do for the 33's. see tj88r4dlx post #19 above.

33's will give you ONE (1) inch more clearance, NOT TWO (2) inches more clearance.

I'd go to 31's.

33s are a huge difference when ACtually wheeling...

I can go a lot further with 33s than 31s
