3.0 won't idle
so i bought a 93 4runner 3.0 v6. it will not idle. i had a couple codes. an egr code ( did the ice egr delete kit code gone) had the dreaded 52, replaced pig tail and repaired harness side. all codes are gone. corrected vacuum routing. cap rotor distributor spark plugs all replaced, replaced the vmaf, swapped coil, replaced tps and set in spec. swapped throttle body. replaced all 6 injectors due to previously someone installed 2 hole densos and was dumping to much fuel. set the top cams , need to check and see if crank shaft is set correctly but before we go that far does anyone else have any ideas to what could be causing it to not idle??

ignition timing? (easy to check, almost always the first place to start). Idle speed? Note that there are a lot of settings on the throttle body (throttle opener, dash pot) that affect idle speed.

Hi, first you have to get a timing gun. Once you have that then normal you check the timing per the users manual or the indicating setting as listed in the hood of you truck. Mine is 10degrees TDC at 800 RPMs. Adjusments are done by turning the distributor while pointing the timing gun at the timing mark in the pulley and checking against the timing plate. Make sure the timing gun is connected correctly. I recommend that you buy your self an Automotive Repair Manual your Truck, its all in there. The Haynes Manuals are really good.

Don't forget to jumper TE1 to E1. http://web.archive.org/web/201212070...13distribu.pdf
As hiniquez suggested, it's hard to believe that you did all that work without a manual. How did you know the torque settings?
