3.0 timing
ok all the marks line up im around 12 to 10 btdc (good) but when i start out it just boggs down bad feels like im running one 1 cylinder im clue less at this point checked vacuums what in the world could be causing this ive never had so much trouble with timing in my life

Did you jumper the pins in the diagnostic connector, TE1 and E1 iirc. When I drove my 2nd gen I could never get the timing right either. I ended up doing it by ear and seat of the pants. I just advanced mine until it pinged and backed off a bit.
Since I switched to the 3rd gen I've never had problems, of course that could be because they don't have a distributor.

and yeah eric the no distributor thing could be it but that just gets more in the ecm controlling issues i have .......ok here goes im not a really big fan of the ecm these days ........dont get me wrong they do make things better (its kinda like making something perfect) but when one little sensor goes bad the whole entire system goes hay wire and the prices for these little things dont get me started on that

Mine did like that when I had my vac lines crossed up. Switched up, whatever you wanna call it. Both plugged in where the other should be. Took me a few days to catch it, 'bout drove me crazy(short trip).

Is this something that just randomly started happening or did you just finish some work on it? Your statement about rebuilt block, pistons and heads leads me to believe that maybe you just finished assembly ?

So you said you know you have a bad O2 sensor, have by-passed the BVSV, and have gotten a code for the knock sensor (52 or 53?). If it's 53, faulty knock control program, I don't see it reprogramming itself(but what do I know?).
Try an O2 sensor. I haven't heard how you can do without one of those. I thought they were fairly crucial for the ECM to do it's job.

im guessing this is going to sound silly but wth does top dead center mean the 1st piston is all the way up or all the way down i get it to be all the way up hence the word top but ill go with anything at this point

lmfao ok here goes this dang rebuild has had my mind going crazy but i finally got it ......the timing issue.. i was on the exaust stroke , believe it or not fliped it 360*.so its purring the 10* btdc i finally figured its not going be the same since im bored of 50 and crank work, and bearing over size, rod work....putting this together the first time i figured all that but had to tear in it afew times after the first put together .

Nice!
