Hi everyone,
i need a a little help my 1995 4 runner we just swapped the motor from a 3.0 to 3.4 it’s out of 2000 runner what I need to know is how come it’s just cranking but it’s not turning over I know it’s something simple a sensor or something like that because the engine sounds amazing as it’s cranking, but it still won’t turn over any ideas ????

 

Answering this directly and accurately will be pretty difficult as no one on here has had eyes on it but you. So, I'd start with the basics...
Do you have fuel at the rail? Are the injectors firing when you crank it?
Do you have spark?
Did you use an adapter harness or cut and splice?
Is everything electrical connected?
Is everything grounded correctly?
Intake tubing and MAF connected?

 

Pull the check engine codes, Im sure theres some. That may point in the right direction.

 

My crystal ball says it is either fuel or spark.
divide your possibilities in half, give it a shot of starting fluid to see if you are getting spark.
if it starts and dies you need to diagnose fuel delivery issues, if it doesn't you aren't getting any spark.
