3.0 91 Pickup hot start issue

3.0 91 Pickup hot start issue
Hello all.
Looking for some quick help. On hot starts my 3.0 will always start....but it's not immediate when the engine is hot. I can turn it over and....maybe 50% of the time it will turn over several times without starting. When I turn the key back to off, then hit the starter again, she fires right up.
Any thoughts here on trouble shooting this?
