3.0 Rebuild & Oil Consumption

So I completed a 3.0 total rebuild about 3 months ago and am still noting oil consumption. At first we traced a leak with an ill fitting head gasket, which we replaced. No noticeable oil dripping from anywhere. Any ideas? I figure I have about 2000 miles on the engine so I would imagine that I am fairly broken in by now.

Thanks.

youve got a bad ring that didnt seat correctly, or didnt overlap the gaps right something along those lines. probibly wont go away.

you could track down the suspect cylinder from the look of the plugs if i had to guess.
