3.0 motor mount differnce?

I blew up my 93 runners motor so i bought another parts motor with a good block. I went to switch my motor mounts and brackets over to the other motor and this motor for the driver side doesnt have the single upper bolt hole and the passenger side doesnt have the holes in the block for the 2 upper.. What the hell do i do? custom fab the block to accommodate my motor mounts?

How was it mounted in the donor rig? It'd probably be a bit of a pain to drill and tap the block, so I'd just use whatever was holding it in the donor rig, unless it was something scary unsafe.

I'm not sure is the thing... It came from an 89 2wd I was told I only needed the block...

Not to be insulting, but have you cleaned the block up enough there to truly know that there's no threaded holes there?

I don't have any experience with the 2wd's, but I can't imagine they'd really have separate 2wd and 4wd blocks.

This is a pretty good span of years for an application to cover, however, there is a difference in the number of bolt holes for the motor mount. Earlier ones had six, while later ones had four
Incase thats not clear, You need the mounts that match the engine year. There were lots of threads when I searched Sorry man
