I was plagued with hot starting for over a year as well and delt with it stalling at idle red lights and stop signs, wouldnt start for over an hour after cooling.. i replaced all my vac hoses because of a vac leek, didnt fix the hot start but helped it run better. Replaced cap/rotor, serviced the entire intake plenum suroudnings, gaskets, hoses, plugs, nothing. found out i had a double missfire, dead injector #1 and a bad distributor, replaced them fwo and no longer unable to hot start!! runs great. Not sure if it was either or that fixed the issue.

how did you find the bad injector?
