3.0 head bolt torque

Hello yotatech family,
i have been a long time reader and have gotten a ton of info over the years, and have never had a need to post a question untill now.i am not new to toyota just have a simple question.

i am currently rebuilding a 92 3.0 from the groung up,and was wondering when u guys have done head gasket jobs on your 3.0's,do you mark the head bolts to identify your 90 degree torque(like the chiltons manual says).Or do you use a torque angle gauge to identify the 90 degree torque? And what is more accurate?

P.s
posted in newbie section and could not get a answer.

It's not that critical. I used a black permanent marker. It's MUCH more critical that you clean the bolt holes out good (I sprayed w/PB Blaster & let sit overnight, then sprayed out well with a thin blower tube & 150 psi of air). Also run your bolts slightly oiled ALL THE WAY into the holes before torquing. I also torqued mine down to the 1st 90 degree turn, then back all the way off, then torqued them down all the way.
