I got a truck, non runner for $200
The guy said the starter was bad... we pulled it with a tractor and tried to bump start and it still did nothing.
When I turn the key, I hear the starter relay. Tap the starter.. still nothing.

The guy said something about something in the dash fuse panel. ..

Any suggestions?

 

Could be wiring in dash fuse panel is below the left of your clutch. I don't see how we could help you much with info given year engine and so on...

 

Its a 1988 pick up. 3.0 v6

The battery is bad, going to replace it but I know there's a problem further than this.

 

I fiddled with some wires under the dash and after that it would crank but still have no fire. It was rolled... is there some type of safety fuel shut off?
