Over time it won't hold up unless you've got it braced with more than backing plates on the sheet metal. Tire carriers rattle around infinitely as you drive.

I have a second gen carrier from a yard and I'm planning on putting it on my 87. Any updates on how it's been holding up? Curious to see if it's been lasting or if the mounts have fatigued over time.
