Question 2nd Gen Runner Rear Wheel Well Options

I am planning on doing a major amount of body work on my 2nd gen 4runner in the spring. What I can deciede is weither or not I should get new wheel well panals or cut them out totally and allow for more flew when I do the lift. What have people been doing for clearence, to allow more room tires???

check out toyotafiberglass.com then have replacement pieces for the whole quarter or just the well in fiberglass and steel. I highly recomend them they are really great.

I have heard of them.. I actually have been thinking alot about using some of there weld in wheel well openings like these... But I have started to have second thought. I want to run 35's soon as I do the SAS and I am a little worried about the clearence. I am trying to see if anyone has ever some trimming in the rear before..

IMO, for 35s, you are going to have to cut up front...the firewall...no fiberglass aftermarket stuff will solve that problem.

Good luck and when you do something, update the thread.

Trimming can work to but it still takes some work to get it to look decient, unless your not worried about chicks riding with you.
